Pied Piper (Hartley Rathaway) is a supervillain turned superhero appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, and is commonly associated with the superhero The Flash (comics), the Flash. The character was created by writer John Broome (writer), John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino, and made his first appearance in ''The Flash (comic book), The Flash'' #106 (May 1959). Piper was originally introduced as a foe of the Flash / Flash (Barry Allen), Barry Allen and eventually became a member of Rogues (comics), the Rogues, a criminal association led by Captain Cold which often battled the Flash. Carmine Michael Infantino (; May 24, 1925 – April 4, 2013) was an American comics artist and editing, editor, primarily for DC Comics, during the late 1950s and early 1960s period known as the Silver Age of Comic Books. Among his character creations are the Black Canary and the Flash (Barry Allen), Silver Age version of DC superhero the Flash (DC Comics character), Flash with writer Robert Kanigher, the stretching Elongated Man with John Broome (writer), John Broome, Barbara Gordon the second Batgirl with writer Gardner Fox, Deadman (comics), Deadman with writer Arnold Drake, and Christopher Chance, the second iteration of the Human Target with Len Wein. History Silver Bullet Comicbooks The site was founded in January 2000 as Silver Bullet Comicbooks by its New Zealand-based publisher/editor Jason Brice. Andrew Michael Mientus (born November 10, 1986) is an American actor.
