The Instituto Nacional de Estatística (Portuguese for the ''National Statistics Institute'', abbreviated as INE) is the public statistics institute of Cape Verde. The Piacenzian is in the international geologic time scale the upper stage (stratigraphy), stage or latest age (geology), age of the Pliocene. Ribeira Seca (Santiago)
Ribeira Seca is the largest stream of the island of Santiago in Cape Verde. It is long and its basin area is . Located in the eastern part of the island, it flows through the municipalities of São Lourenço dos Órgãos and Santa Cruz. Its source is near the highest point of the island, Pico de Antónia, from where it flows to the east to João Teves. It turns to the northeast and flows into the Atlantic Ocean at Achada Fazenda, 2 km southeast of Pedra Badejo. It is called ''Ribeira de Pico da Antónia'' in its uppermost part, and ''Ribeira de Lage'' near João Teves. Its most important tributaries are Ribeira de São Cristovão (coming from near Mendes Faleiro Cabral) and Ribeira da Montanha (coming from near Montanha). A tripoint, trijunction, triple point, or tri-border area is a geographical point at which the boundaries of three countries or subnational entities meet. There are 175 international tripoints as of 2020. Nearly half are situated in rivers, lakes or seas.
