PICAP is a Catalan record label headquartered in Castellar del Vallès, Spain. It was founded in 1984. History PICAP supports Catalan authors and performers. While respecting the performer's linguistic expression, it gives preferential support to the Catalan language. Its debuted as a record label in 1984 with four maxi-singles that appeared simultaneously: the synthpop band Programa, Javier Asensi, pop group Oslo, and hard-rock artist Rockson. , Maria-Josep Villarroya, , , and Joan Soler Boronat were among PICAP's first artists. The first commercial success of the new record label was Catalan humorist . Al Tall was a Valencian folk music group from Valencia in Spain. It was formed in 1975 by Vicent Torrent, Manuel Miralles, and Miquel Gil. and was dissolved in October 2012. Companyia Elèctrica Dharma is a Spanish band. Many of its members are brothers, from the district of Sants, in the city of Barcelona. Castellar del Vallès is a Spanish municipality of Catalonia in the comarca of Vallès Occidental. It is located 7 km from Sabadell and 11 km from Terrassa, the comarca's two capitals. Delfí Abella
Delfí Abella i Gibert (; February 2, 1925 – February 1, 2007) was a Catalan psychiatrist, essayist and songwriter. A medical psychiatrist by profession, he was head of the Department of Psychiatry at the Hospital de Santa Creu i Sant Pau, professor of psychiatry at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and author of works on psychiatry. In 1961, Abella became one of the earliest members of the Nova Cançó group Els Setze Jutges. He released three EPs as a member of the group, recording twelve songs in total. Abella's Catalan-language adaptations of songs by French ''chanson'' singers including Barbara, Anne Sylvestre, and Guy Béart were performed and recorded by some of the younger members of the Els Setze Jutges: Maria del Mar Bonet, Guillermina Motta, Maria Amèlia Pedrerol, and Joan Manuel Serrat. Josep Maria Espinàs i Massip (; born 7 March 1927) is a Catalan language writer, journalist and publisher known for his novels, travel writing and newspaper articles. Author of an extensive body of literature, Espinàs has been honored with the Premi d'Honor de les Lletres Catalanes, el Premi Joanot Martorell, el Premi Sant Jordi and el Premi Víctor Català. In the 1960s he played a key role in the development of the Nova Cançó movement, co-founding the musical group Els Setze Jutges. Josep Vicenç Foix i Mas (; 28 January 1893 in Barcelona – 29 January 1987) was a Catalan poet, writer, and essayist in Catalan. He usually signed his work by using the abbreviation J.V. Foix. Biography Born in Sarrià, Barcelona, Foix was the son of a baker. He started a university degree in law, but gave it up after the second year. Later, he worked in the family business as well as reading classic masterpieces of literature by authors such as Lord Byron, Dante Alighieri and Charles Baudelaire. Foix remained rooted to the place where he was born, even after the conclusion of the Spanish Civil War.
