Phyo Pyae Sone
Phyo Pyae Sone is a Burmese pop singer. He debuted after winning the 2010 season of ''Melody World'', a local singing competition. His first album, ''Every Hope'' (မျှော်နိုင်သမျှ) was released in 2015. In 2018, he collaborated with Aung Htet to release another album, ''Star'' (ကြယ်). Early life and education He is a physician by training, having attended University of Medicine 1, Yangon. Personal life On 7 October 2019, Phyo and two others, Nyein Chan Ko, and Ronny San Lwin, were falsely arrested on charges of drug possession. They were subsequently released on 9 October 2019, after police authorities determined they had been falsely arrested. Aung Htet ( my, အောင်ထက်, born Thet Zin Htay on 17 August 1990) is a Burmese singer and musician. In addition to singing, he plays the guitar and piano. He gained popularity while competing on the first season of ''Eipmat Sone Yar-Yar That Pan'' (), a singing competition broadcast on Channel 7. During the competition, he was well received by audiences for innovative compositions of well-known Burmese songs. Aung Htet released his first album, ''Hey, Friend'' () on 27 March 2016. Born in a village located Demoso, Kayah State, Burma (now Myanmar), Aung Htet was raised in Magwe Region. Thingyan
Thingyan (, ; Arakanese: ; from Sanskrit '' saṁkrānti,'' which means "transit f the Sun from Pisces to Aries) is the Burmese New Year Festival that usually occurs in middle of April. Thingyan is the first ever water festival celebrated in the world or the earliest water festival in water festivals. Thingyan has been celebrated since the Tagaung period(1-10 AD) of Myanmar and became famous during the Bagan period (12 AD). It is a Buddhist festival celebrated over a period of four to five days, culminating in the New Year. The dates of the Thingyan Festival are calculated according to the Burmese calendar. The dates of the festival are observed as public holidays throughout Myanmar, and are part of the summer holidays at the end of the school year.
