Phoenix P-12 Community College is a school located in the Ballarat suburb of Sebastopol, Victoria, Australia. It formed in 2011 with the amalgamation of Sebastopol College and Redan Primary School. The school was named after the Phoenix mine, located south of the school. Curriculum The College has eight Key Learning Areas which are accessible to all students. The school is involved in the Bright Futures program and has curriculum program links with primary schools and further education providers. This school also has had their PCG class dedicated to The Resilence Project due to Mental Health raising up in Modern days, however its unclear if this will continue 2023 onwards. Erin Carroll (born 4 April 1986 in Nhill, Victoria) is an Australian badminton player from Ballarat, Victoria. Career Caroll started playing badminton in 1998, and coaches by her father Rob. She attended Sebastopol Secondary College, where she was a keen participant in Badminton throughout her high school stay. She was part of the Australia national badminton team competed at the 2002 IBF World Junior Championships, 2004 Commonwealth Youth Games, 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2007 Sudirman Cup, and 2008 Summer Olympics. She is now a physical education teacher at Melbourne's Maribyrnong Sports Academy. The Victorian Certificate of Education (often abbreviated VCE) is one credential available to secondary school students who successfully complete year 11 and 12 in the Australian state of Victoria. The VCE is the predominant choice for students wishing to pursue tertiary education. Paul Jenkins (politician)
Geoffrey Paul Jenkins (born 5 March 1938) is an Australian former politician. He was born in Ballarat and attended Redan Primary School and Ballarat High School. In 1952 he took an apprenticeship with H. L. Pullen, but in 1958 underwent national service. On his return, as an electrical mechanic, he worked for a number of companies until becoming a self-employed contractor and company director in 1961. In 1985 he was elected to Sebastopol Borough Council, serving until 1993 (and as mayor from 1989 to 1990). In 1992 he was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly The Victorian Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of Victoria in Australia; the upper house being the Victorian Legislative Council. Sebastopol is a southern suburb on the rural-urban fringe of Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. It is the third most populated area in urban Ballarat with a population of 10,194 at the .
