Chengdu Phoenix Hill Sports Park ( simplified Chinese: 成都凤凰山体育公园; traditional Chinese: 成都鳳凰山體育公園) is a major sports complex located in the Jinniu District of Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Designed by HKS Architects, it was constructed between 2010 and 2021 and officially opened in 2022. The park is a prominent landmark in Chengdu and has become a popular destination for sports enthusiasts and tourists alike. 2021 Summer World University Games
The 2021 Summer Universiade ( zh, 2021年夏季世界大学生运动会), the XXXI Summer World University Games, commonly known as the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, is a multi-sport event sanctioned by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), scheduled to be held from 28 July to 8 August 2023 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. These will be the third edition of the Games to be hosted by China, and the second edition to be branded under the "World University Games" title rather than "Universiade". The Sichuan Jinqiang Blue Whales (sometimes spelled Whale) (四川金强蓝鲸), also known as Sichuan Jinqiang or Sichuan Jinrong Industry, are a professional basketball team based in Wenjiang District, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, which plays in the North Division of the Chinese Basketball Association.
