Phoebe Di Tommaso
Phoebe Di Tommaso (born 26 July 1990 in Brisbane) is an Australian former competitive figure skater who won the senior national title in the 2010–11 season. She made her senior international debut at the 2007 Four Continents Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado; she qualified for the free skate and finished 21st overall. Di Tommaso also competed at three other Four Continents and the 2005 World Junior Championships but did not reach the final segment. The Race (Yello Song)
"The Race" is a song by Swiss electronic band Yello, released as the first single from their album ''Flag''. The single was initially released on 11 April 1988 via the Fontana label. Release history In 1988 the single was released in 7", 12" and CD formats throughout the world, and additionally as a cassette single in some places. The limited edition single contained a remix by Paul Dakeyne. Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The Four Continents Figure Skating Championships (4CC) is an annual figure skating competition. The International Skating Union established it in 1999 to provide skaters representing non-African and non-European countries with a similar competition to the much older European Figure Skating Championships. The event's name refers to North America and South America are both the Americas, Asia and Oceania (four of the continents represented in the Olympic rings, omitting Africa and Europe). Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. Historically, the 4CC has been dominated by just four countries – Canada, China, Japan, and the United States – which have won a combined 267 out of 276 possible medals. The 2010–11 figure skating season began on July 1, 2010, and ended on June 30, 2011. During this season, elite skaters competed on the ISU Championship level at the 2011 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. They also competed in elite competitions such as the Grand Prix series and Junior Grand Prix series, culminating in the Grand Prix Final. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Kander and Ebb were a highly successful American songwriting team consisting of composer John Kander (born March 18, 1927) and lyricist Fred Ebb (April 8, 1928 – September 11, 2004).
