Philips And The Monkey Pen
''Philips and the Monkey Pen'' is a 2013 Indian Malayalam language children's film written by Rojin Thomas and directed by Rojin Thomas and Shanil Muhammed. The film stars Sanoop Santhosh, Jayasurya, Remya Nambeesan, Vijay Babu and Joy Mathew. The film revolves around a ten-year-old called Ryan Philip (Sanoop Santhosh) and his adventures with a magical pen called the Monkey Pen. The film was produced by Vijay Babu and actress Sandra Thomas under Friday Film House banner. Neil D’Cunha is the cinematographer and the music has been scored by Remya Nambeesan's brother, Rahul Subrahmaniam. The film released on 2 November 2013 coinciding with Diwali in Kerala. The Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist is an award, begun in 1969, presented annually at the Kerala State Film Awards of India for the best performance by a child actor in the Malayalam cinema. Najim Arshad (born 8 June 1986) is a state award-winning Indian playback singer and music director, sung more than 500 songs in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries. Shaan Rahman (born 30 December 1979) is an Indian composer and singer, best known for his compositions in the Malayalam cinema.
