The Philippine five hundred-peso note (Filipino language, Filipino: ''Limandaang Piso'') (₱500) is a Denomination (currency), denomination of Philippine peso, Philippine currency. Senate of the Philippines, Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. and his wife, President of the Philippines, President Corazon Aquino are currently featured on the front side of the note, while the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park and the blue-naped parrot are featured on the reverse side. The New Design Series (NDS) was the name used to refer to banknotes of the Philippine peso issued from 1985 to 2013; it was also known as the BSP Series when the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas was established in 1993. The Aduana Building (''Aduana de Manila'' or ''Manila Customs House''), also known as the Intendencia, was a Spanish colonial structure in Manila, Philippines that housed several government offices through the years.
