Pepe Pimentel
José "Pepe" Gonzáles Pimentel, Sr. (April 30, 1929 – January 25, 2013) was a Filipino game show host, television personality, actor and singer. He rose to fame as the first champion of the original ''Tawag ng Tanghalan'' (1955). Pimentel later became known as the host of '' Kwarta o Kahon'' which ran for 38 years and was considered the precursor and inspiration of popular game segments such as ''Wowowee''’s ''Pera o Bayong''. After his show business career, Pimentel served as barangay captain in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City (1997–2007) and was described by neighbors as very helpful and friendly. Pimentel died on January 25, 2013 in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City Quezon City (, ; fil, Lungsod Quezon ), also known as the City of Quezon and Q.C. Mario Montenegro
Mario Montenegro (born Roger Collin Macalalag; July 25, 1928 – August 27, 1988) was a Filipino film actor best known for his heroic leading roles. Early life Montenegro was born in Pagsanjan, LagunaCCP Encyclopedia, p. 279 Montenegro was a Fine Arts student at the University of the Philippines upon the invasion of the Philippines by Japan during World War II. At the age of fourteen, he joined the armed resistance against the Imperial Japanese Army as a member of the Hunters ROTC guerilla unit. He was only sixteen when he, along with the Hunters ROTC, participated in the famed raid on the Japanese internment camp at Los Baños, Laguna on February 23, 1945. Delia Razon (born Lucy May Grytz; born August 8, 1931) is a Filipina actress born to a German father and a Spanish Filipina mother. She made her debut in 1949 in the LVN Pictures' ''Krus na Bituin''. Dona Narcisa de Leon discovered Lucy's talent and gave her the screen name Delia Razon. She became popular for her loveteam with Rogelio dela Rosa. Manuel Conde (born Manuel Pabustan Urbano; October 9, 1915 – August 11, 1985) was a Filipino actor, director and producer. As an actor, he also used the screen name Juan Urbano during the 1930s aside from his more popular screen name. Early career His first film was ''Mahiwagang Biyolin'' in 1935. He made almost three dozen films under LVN Pictures as a contract star. Edgar Sinco Romero, (July 7, 1924 – May 28, 2013), commonly known as Eddie Romero, was a Filipino film director, film producer and screenwriter. Early life Romero was born on July 7, 1924. His father was José E. Romero, the first Philippine Ambassador to the Court of St. James's. His mother was Pilar Guzman Sinco, a schoolteacher and the sister of University of the Philippines President Vicente G. Sinco who signed the United Nations Charter in 1945 on behalf of the Philippines. His brother was Jose V. Romero Jr., former Philippine Ambassador to Italy. He studied at Silliman University. Rosa Aguirre
Rosa Aguirre (1908–1981) was a Filipina actress who worked for Sampaguita Pictures and Lvn Pictures. She was married to actor Miguel Anzures and mother to controversial actor Narding Anzures. She made her first movie on 1938, ''Himagsikan ng Puso'', with Rudy Concepcion. Aguirre completed 13 movies when World War II broke the city of Manila. Under X'Otic Pictures and Eiga Hekusa she made one film during Japanese Occupation, '' Liwayway ng Kalayaan'' (Dawn of Freedom). In 1946, she made one war movie ''Death March'' under Philippine Pictures Inc., opposite Leopoldo Salcedo, ''Daily Doble'', for Fernando Poe Production in 1947. Aguirre made two movies under Nolasco Bros, ''Siete Dolores'' (Seven Sorrows) and ''Mga Busabos ng Palad'' (Slaves of Hand).
