Philipp Riese
Philipp Riese (born 12 November 1989) is a German professional football coach and a former central midfielder. He is an assistant coach with Erzgebirge Aue. Career Riese announced his retirement as a player in the summer 2022, and in November 2022 he decided to come back to playing with Erzgebirge Aue Fußball Club Erzgebirge Aue e.V., commonly known as simply FC Erzgebirge Aue or Erzgebirge Aue (), is a Football in Germany, German football club based in Aue-Bad Schlema, Saxony. Meuselwitz
Meuselwitz () is a town in the Altenburger Land district, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated 12 km northwest of Altenburg and 11 km east of Zeitz. History During World War II, a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp operated here. It provided slave labour for HASAG, the third largest consumer of forced labour during the war. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. Zipsendorfer Fußballclub Meuselwitz is a German association football club from Meuselwitz, Thuringia. History The origins of the club go back to the establishment of ''Aktivist Zipsendorf'' in 1919. After World War II the club played as ''BSG Aktivist Zipsendorf'' and enjoyed some early minor success with three consecutive titles (1954–56) in the Kreisliga Altenburg and a 1962 win in local cup play. However, the club remained mired in the lower echelons of East German competition. When the community of Zipsendorf was merged into nearby Meuselwitz in 1976 the team was re-christened ''BSG Aktivist Meuselwitz''. Fußball Club Erzgebirge Aue e.V., commonly known as simply FC Erzgebirge Aue or Erzgebirge Aue (), is a Football in Germany, German football club based in Aue-Bad Schlema, Saxony.
