Philip-Michael Devos
Philip-Michaël Devos (born April 26, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing for HC Ajoie of the National League (NL). Career Devos played five seasons (2006 – 2011) of major junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), registering 112 goals, 294 points, and 194 minutes penalty minutes in 325 games played. On May 26, 2011, the Norfolk Admirals signed Devos on a two-year American Hockey League standard player's contract. He then joined AHL's Syracuse Crunch prior to the 2012-13 season. In October 2013, he was picked up by the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL and was traded to the Florida Everblades in January 2014. On August 8, 2014, Devos began his European career by signing a one-year contract with Italian club, HC Pustertal Wölfe. Devos went on to finish the season as leading scorer in the Italian Serie A registering 31 goals and 72 assists in 49 games. Norfolk Admirals (AHL)
The Norfolk Admirals were a professional ice hockey team that played in the American Hockey League. They became affiliated with the Anaheim Ducks after being dropped from the Tampa Bay Lightning following their 2012 AHL championship season. The Admirals played in Norfolk, Virginia at the Norfolk Scope. For the 2015–16 season, the Admirals moved to San Diego, California to become the newest version of the San Diego Gulls as part of the AHL's efforts to create a Pacific Division. The Bakersfield Condors from the ECHL moved to Norfolk for the 2015–16 season and also use the name Norfolk Admirals. Swiss League
The Swiss League is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League. The winners of the league each season plays a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of the NL, and if they win, they are promoted, while the National League team is relegated to the Swiss League. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was formerly called National League B. The league attendance in 2018–19 was about 2,700 spectators. The Elmira Jackals were a professional minor league ice hockey team based in Elmira, New York. They were members of the United Hockey League from 2000 to 2007 and the ECHL from 2007 to 2017. The Jackals played their home games at First Arena.
