Phil Nice
Phil Nice (born 6 April 1954 in Vange, Essex) is a British actor who has been active in television and films since 1984. He has appeared in TV serials including ''Who Dares Wins'', ''South of the Border'', ''Inspector Morse'', ''Mr. Bean'', '' Goodnight Sweetheart'', ''The Bill'', ''EastEnders'', '' Heartbeat'', ''The Inbetweeners'' (as a driving instructor), ''Coming of Age'', ''Moving Wallpaper'', ''Love Soup'', '' Torchwood: Miracle Day'', ''My Family'', ''Hebburn'' and '' Citizen Khan'' (as friendly neighbour Keith). Vange
Vange is a former village and civil parish now subsumed within the urban area of the Basildon borough of Essex. As it is much smaller than Basildon, Laindon and Pitsea, it does not have its own town centre or railway station. ''Citizen Khan'' is a British sitcom produced by the BBC and created by Adil Ray. Five series have been shown so far. It is set in Sparkhill, South Birmingham, described by its lead character, a British Pakistani man Mr Khan (Ray), as "the capital of British Pakistan". ''The Silent World of Nicholas Quinn'' is a crime novel by Colin Dexter, the third novel in Inspector Morse series. Synopsis The Oxford Foreign Examinations Syndicate runs school exams in the Persian Gulf and other places with a British connection. The Secretary Dr Bartlett and Mr Roope, a chemistry don and a member of the committee, disagree about the appointment of a new member of staff. Roope gets his way and Nicholas Quinn, a deaf man who lipreads, gets the job. When Quinn is found murdered in his maisonette, all the staff are under suspicion. Brian Arthur John Smith (born 27 November 1954) is an English alternative comedian, presenter and writer. Early life Smith was born on 27 November 1954 in Bermondsey, south London. His eldest brother is Richard Smith, a medical doctor, editor and businessman. His younger brother is Nick Smith, a civil servant who was also a stand-up comic but in recent years has turned to amateur dramatics. Arthur was a student and school captain at The Roan School for Boys, a grammar school, now The John Roan School in Blackheath, London.
