Phiiliip
Phiiliip (born Philip Guichard, August 24, 1980) is an American performing artist, whose music has been described as "'Lady Godiva's Operation' remixed by the Neptunes on a budget." Life His first album, ''Pet Cancer'', was released on American Patchwork, Momus's label with Darla Records. ''AllMusic'' gave it four stars and said "Phiiliip combines soft synths, disaffected breathy vocals, and folky acoustic guitars for a dazzling, yet minimal effect." Momus was also responsible for redubbing Philip as Phiiliip, so as to ensure his googlability, and spearheaded a U.S. tour, of which Phiiliip's "highly postured and totally electronic act was reminiscent of a cross between retro Factory and Morrissey." He became a regular performer on the New York electroclash circuit, playing at clubs such as Luxx, Don Hill's, Joe's Pub, the Knitting Factory and the Andy Warhol Museum. Avenue D (band)
Avenue D was an American electroclash duo from Miami, Florida. Based in New York City, the duo consisted of Debbie D. (Debbie Attias) and Daphne D. (Daphne Gomez-Mena). They were protégés of Larry Tee, and performed for his parties. Their music is an energetic, humorous and sexually explicit mix of hip hop, electro, and new wave. History Avenue D formed in 2001, as part of New York's electroclash scene, which also included artists such as Fischerspooner, Peaches, and Felix da Housecat. Their songs were inspired by new wave music and 2 Live Crew. AA Bronson (born Michael Tims in Vancouver in 1946) is an artist. He was a founding member of the artists' group General Idea, was president and director of Printed Matter, Inc., and started the NY Art Book Fair and the LA Art Book Fair. Terence Koh (born 1977 in Beijing, China ) is a Canadian artist who has also worked under the alias "asianpunkboy". The artist's work spans a range of media, including drawing, sculpture, video, performance, and the internet. Originally working under the alias asianpunkboy, Koh designed zines and custom-made books. His recent work has expanded to include durational performances, complex installations, and the exploration of natural ecosystems. Dior Homme is the menswear division of Christian Dior SA, the French clothing retailer. Dior Men has been under the creative direction of Kim Jones since spring/summer 2019. It had been directed by Hedi Slimane since the fall/winter 2001-02 season.
