''Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty'' () is a 2023 expansion pack for the 2020 video game ''Cyberpunk 2077'' developed by CD Projekt Red. The expansion introduces a new district to the game's open world, as well as a new quest line. In a dystopian cyberpunk setting, the player assumes the role of V, a mercenary who must rescue the President of the New United States after her aircraft crashes in the lawless district of Dogtown. It was released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows in September 2023, and for Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2025. The expansion received critical acclaim and is credited with renewing interest in ''Cyberpunk 2077.'' It has sold more than 10 million copies since release. CD Projekt S.A. () is a Polish video game company based in Warsaw, founded in May 1994 by Marcin Iwiński and Michał Kiciński. Iwiński and Kiciński were video game retailers before they founded the company, which initially acted as a distributor of foreign video games for the domestic market. First-person Perspective
A first-person narrative (also known as a first-person perspective, voice, point of view, etc.) is a mode of storytelling in which a storyteller recounts events from that storyteller's own personal point of view, using first-person grammar such as "I", "me", "my", and "myself" (also, in plural form, "we", "us", etc.). It must be narrated by a first-person character, such as a protagonist (or other focal character), re-teller, witness, or peripheral character.
