Jimmy Robinson (actor)
James O. Robinson Jr. (1918–1967) was an American film actor. Early life Robinson was born on 30 July 1918, in Los Angeles, California, as the son of James O. Robinson Sr. Career He played the role of "Hambone" Johnson in Fontaine Fox's Mickey McGuire film series of short subjects. He was in the series from its beginning in 1927 until its end in 1934, appearing in most of the shorts in series. During his Mickey McGuire days, Robinson also appeared in other films, such as Tenderfeet and Penrod and Sam. After the McGuire series, Robinson continued to act, but mostly in bit parts. Death Robinson died from an illness on 2 November 1967, at the age of 49, in his California home. Edwin Forrest Taylor (December 29, 1883 – February 19, 1965) was an American character actor whose artistic career spanned six different decades, from silents through talkies to the advent of color films. Early years Taylor was born in Bloomington, Illinois. His father managed the Dreamland Theatre in Kewanee, Illinois, and a news item in 1916 reported, "Manager Chris Taylor of Dreamland at Kewanee features his son, E. Forrest Taylor, in Western pictures every Monday." Career Stage Taylor was a veteran of the stage by the time he started appearing as a silent lead in both short and feature-length films. His talents extended beyond acting to include management. Marin Sais (born Mae Smith; August 2, 1890 – December 31, 1971) was an American actress whose career was most prolific during the silent film era of the 1910s and 1920s. Sais' acting career spanned over four decades and she is possibly best recalled for appearing in Western themed films. Early life and career Born in San Rafael, California into a family that was allegedly descended from one of the earliest Spanish families to settle in California, Marin Sais began her acting career as a teenager after travelling to New York City where she appeared in vaudeville. In 1910, at the age of twenty, Sais made her screen debut for New York City's Vitagraph Studios in the short film adaptation of William Shakespeare's ''Twelfth Night'' opposite the notable actors Florence Turner and Julia Swayne Gordon. Buzz Barton (1913–1980) was an American film actor.Munden p.37 He is predominantly known for his roles as a child actor in a number of silent westerns made by the FBO studios during the 1920s. Following the introduction of sound, he mainly played supporting roles. Working for M. G. M. and Universal, Barton made more than 50 feature films. He also made a serial, ''Wild Horse Barton''. Jack Ingram (actor)
John Samuel Ingram (November 15, 1902 – February 20, 1969) was an American film and television actor. He appeared in many serials and Westerns between 1935 and 1966. Biography Ingram served in the U.S. Army in France. After leaving the military, he gave up plans to study law and instead joined a traveling minstrel show. He acted in stock theater with several companies before going into film. Ingram first appeared on screen in a bit part in ''Westward Ho'' (1935). His first film credit came in the serial ''Zorro Rides Again'' (1937). In addition to acting, Ingram was a stunt man, working with horses and cars in films in the early 1930s. He was born in Frankfort, Illinois, and died in Canoga Park, California, of a heart attack. He was interred in the Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Chatsworth, California.
