Petteri Lotila
Petteri Lotila (born 24 March 1978) is a Finnish-born Norwegian former professional ice hockey player. Career Lotila began his career as a young centre with the junior team of his local organisation, Lukko Rauma. Lotila started with a solid season, although he was not a regular player—in 12 games, he scored 6 points. As he rose through the ranks at Lukko, his production was steady and he proved to be a hard working, physical centreman. Lotila twice played in the post-season for the junior teams, in the 1996/97 season and the 1997/98 season. His promotion to the senior team, playing in the SM-Liiga would come in time for the 1999/2000 season, and although scoring just 2 points in 48 games, his effort was recognised as he finished the season with a plus/minus rating of plus 5. Winger (ice Hockey)
Winger, in the game of ice hockey, is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play is along the outer playing areas. They typically flank the centre forward. Originally the name was given to forward players who went up and down the sides of the rink. Wingers generally have the least defensive responsibilities out of any position on the ice, however they are still tasked with defensive duties such as forechecking duties or covering the point in the defensive zone. Nowadays, there are different types of wingers in the game — out-and-out goal scorers, checkers who disrupt the opponents, and forwards who work along the boards and in the corners. The Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), sometimes referred to as the British Elite League or, for sponsorship reasons, the Viaplay Elite League, is an ice hockey league in the United Kingdom. Rauman Lukko (Finnish for "lock") is a Finnish sports club based in Rauma, Finland, best known for its men’s professional ice hockey team. The club was founded as Rauma Woodin Lukko in 1936. The representative team currently plays in the Finnish Liiga, the premier men’s professional ice hockey league in Finland. Kajaanin Hokki is a Finnish ice hockey team based at Kajaani. The team was founded in 1968. The club Hokki was promoted from Suomi-sarja to Mestis in the end of season 2001–02 after beating Diskos of Jyväskylä in qualifications. Eliteserien, known as Fjordkraftligaen due to sponsorship, is the premier Norwegian ice hockey league, organised by the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association.
