Petrojet Sporting Club ( ar, نادي بتروجيت الرياضي) is an Egyptian sports club based in Suez, Egypt. The club is related to Petrojet, a construction company specialized in oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Petrojet is mainly known for its football team, which currently plays in the Egyptian Second Division, the second-highest league in the Egyptian football league system. Petrojet was promoted to the Egyptian Premier League for the first time in their history only six years after their foundation, as they were promoted from the Egyptian Second Division during the 2005–06 season. 2018–19 Egyptian Premier League
The 2018–19 Egyptian Premier League, also known as The WE League for sponsorship purposes, was the 60th season of the Egyptian Premier League, the top Egyptian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948. The season started on 31 July 2018 and concluded on 28 July 2019. Fixtures for the 2018–19 season were announced on 8 July 2018. El Gouna, Nogoom and Haras El Hodoud entered as the promoted teams from the 2017–18 Egyptian Second Division. Ahmed Mostafa Kotb (born 21 October 1997) is an Egyptian footballer who plays for Ismaily as a winger. Professional career Mostafa joined Gent on 31 May 2018 from Petrojet for a fee around $550,000. Mostafa made his professional debut with Gent in a 3–0 Belgian First Division A win over Cercle Brugge on 2 September 2018. On 25 January 2019, Mostafa was loaned out to Smouha SC for the rest of the season in order for him get some valuable match experience. The Egyptian Premier League ( ar, الدوري المصري الممتاز), also known as WE Egyptian Premier League (WE EPL) after the addition of title sponsor WE, is a professional association football league in Egypt and the top level of the Egyptian football league system. The league comprises 18 teams and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Egyptian Second Division. Seasons mostly run from August to May. Unlike most other leagues, all games are played all over the week. The 2010–11 Egyptian Premier League is the fifty-fourth season of the Egyptian Premier League since its establishment in 1948. It began on 5 August 2010 and ended on 11 July 2011. The league was suspended on 27 January 2011 due to the Egyptian Revolution and resumed on 13 April 2011. A total of 16 teams are contesting the league including six-time defending champions Al-Ahly S.C. who have won thirty-five times in total. Teams Ghazl El-Mehalla, El Mansoura SC and Asyut Petroleum as the worst three teams of the 2009–10 were relegated to the 2010–11 Egyptian Second Division. Alaa Ali ( ar, علاء علي; 28 January 1988 – 11 November 2019) was an Egyptian footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.
