Petrit Dibra
Petrit Dibra (born 15 September 1953 in Tiranë) is an Albanian former footballer who spent his entire career at his hometown club 17 Nëntori Tirana (present day KF Tirana) as a forward. Club career Early career Dibra was born in Tiranë into an intellectual family as the only brother among three sisters, and attended the Alqi Kondi School before enrolling at the Qemal Stafa High School. While at the Alqi Kondi School he was a successful athlete, competing in the 60m and 100m where he was schoolboy champion at the time. He began playing football near his home where former 17 Nëntori Tirana player Aurel Verria would train youngsters. He was also a member of the Pallati i Pionerëve team that won the Durrës pioneers tournament under the guidance of coach Osman Reçi. Tomori Berat
KF Tomori is an Albanian football club based in the city of Berat. The club's home ground is the Tomori Stadium and they currently participate in the Kategoria e Parë. History The sport of football was introduced to the city of Berat in the early 1910s by students who had completed their studies abroad. They brought back footballs and the rules of the game from their travels which they then passed onto the locals. As early as 1913, amateur neighbourhood teams were formed, such as Çunat e Lumit, Vakëfi, Kalaja and Opinga. Agim Hysen Murati (8 March 1953 – 15 September 2005) was an Albanian international football striker. During his career, Murati was recognised for "his ability to head the ball in the penalty area". Playing career Early years Agim Hysen Murati was born on 8 March 1953 in Shijak, the son of Hysen and Myhrie Murati. He was raised in Shijak and attended the high school. He developed a passion for the sport from an early age, joining Erzeni academy in 1967. The Kategoria Superiore, officially known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). Ali Mema
Ali Mema (1 February 1943 – 26 March 2019) was an Albanian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He played for 17 Nëntori Tirana for the majority of his career as well as the Albania national team, whom he earned 14 senior caps with. He has been regarded as one of Tirana's greatest players in history. Xhavit Shyqyri Demneri Street, a street in Tirana, the capital of Albania, is named in his honor.
