Petrina, Arcadia
Petrina ( el, Πετρίνα) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Falaisia, Arcadia, Greece. It is situated in the northern foothills of the Taygetus mountains. It is 3 km east of Falaisia, 4 km west of Skortsinos, 4 km south of Voutsaras, 7 km southeast of Leontari and 14 km southeast of Megalopoli. In 2011 Petrina had a population of 44 for the village, and 69 for the community, which includes the village Spanaiika. Taygetus
The Taygetus, Taugetus, Taygetos or Taÿgetus ( el, Ταΰγετος, Taygetos) is a mountain range on the Peloponnese peninsula in Southern Greece. The highest mountain of the range is Mount Taygetus, also known as "Profitis Ilias", or "Prophet Elias" (Elijah). The name is one of the oldest recorded in Europe, appearing in the Odyssey. In classical mythology, it was associated to the nymph Taygete and it was named after her. Leontari, Arcadia
Leontari ( el, Λεοντάρι, meaning ''Lion'' in English) is a village and a community in the southwestern part of Arcadia, Greece, seat of the former municipality of Falaisia. It is situated on a hillside, 6 km east of Paradeisia, 9 km northwest of Kamara and 9 km south of Megalopoli. The community consists of the villages Leontari (population 257 in 2011), Gavria (pop. 9), Kalyvia (pop. 11), Kamaritsa (pop. 22) and Kotsiridi (pop. 22).
