Petre Tobă
Petre Tobă (born 18 June 1964) is a Romanian politician who served as Minister of Internal Affairs of Romania in the Cioloș Cabinet from 17 November 2015 to 1 September 2016. Born in Bucharest, he studied engineering at the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest from 1985 to 1989. He then pursued a Law degree from the from 1996 to 2000, and a masters degree from the Carol I National Defence University from 2006 to 2007. In 2009 he became Inspector General of the Romanian Police. His awards include the Order of the Star of Romania, Knight class and the National Order of Faithful Service The National Order of Faithful Service ( ro, Ordinul Național "Serviciul Credincios") is the second highest national order of Romania, with the Order of the Star of Romania being the highest national order. Dacian Cioloș
Dacian Julien Cioloș (; born 27 July 1969) is a Romanian agronomist who served as Prime Minister of Romania from November 2015 to January 2017. He previously served as Agriculture Minister under Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu between October 2007 and December 2008. In November 2009, European Commission President José Manuel Barroso nominated him to be the next Agriculture Commissioner, a position he assumed in February 2010 and held until his term expired in November 2014. In November 2015, President Klaus Iohannis named him Prime Minister; Cioloș assumed office after receiving approval from Parliament. He remained until after the 2016 parliamentary election, which was lost by the parties that called for Cioloș to continue his term. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania ( ro, Ministerul Afacerilor Interne) is one of the eighteen ministries of the Government of Romania. From 23 August 1944 to 18 March 1975 the ministry held the title of ''Minister of Internal Affairs'', between 2004 and 2007, held the title of ''Minister of Administration and Interior'', and since April 2007, ''Minister of Interior and Administrative Reform''. In December 2008, the Boc government changed the name back to ''Ministry of Administration and Interior''. A knight is a person granted an honorary title of knighthood by a head of state (including the Pope) or representative for service to the monarch, the Christian denomination, church or the country, especially in a military capacity. The Cioloș Cabinet was the 125th Government of Romania. It was led by Dacian Cioloș, who was appointed Prime Minister of Romania on 10 November 2015, after the resignation of Victor Ponta amid mass protests against generalised corruption linked to the Colectiv nightclub fire. The National Order of Merit ( ro, Ordinul Național Pentru Merit) is an order which is part of the National System of Decorations of Romania. A medal of merit also exists, but does not confer membership in the order. History The current order continues a tradition going back well over a century. Klaus Werner Iohannis (; ; also spelled Johannis; born 13 June 1959) is a Romanian politician, physicist and former teacher who has been serving as the president of Romania since 2014.
