Petr Smíšek
Petr Smíšek (born 22 January 1978) is a Czech footballer. His position is striker. Smíšek spent his early career with Viktoria Plzeň, where he played 59 top-flight matches, scoring 7 goals. He finished the season as third top scorer with Plzeň in the 2002–03 Czech 2. Liga, scoring 13 goals, as the club won the division and promotion back to the Gambrinus liga. In 2003, he had a trial with 2. Fußball-Bundesliga side SV Wacker Burghausen. He ultimately signed for Jablonec, where he spent three and a half seasons, before moving on to Teplice Teplice () (until 1948 Teplice-Šanov; german: Teplitz-Schönau or ''Teplitz'') is a city in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. SV Wacker Burghausen is a Football in Germany, German football club based in Burghausen, Altötting, Burghausen, Bavaria and is part of one of the nation's largest sports clubs with some 6,000 members participating in two dozen different sports. History The club was founded on 13 November 1930 and was made up largely of employees from the local chemical factory Wacker Chemie, which was established in 1914, and still sponsors the club today. The first football side in the city was part of the gymnastics club Turnverein Burghausen. In 1922, the footballers left TV to form 1. FC Burghausen which became part of SV at the time of its founding. Besides football, the new club had departments for shooting, athletics, and youth.
