Petr Hořava (ice Hockey)
Petr Hořava (born July 22, 1985) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman. He was born in Kladno, and played for his local team HC Kladno the majority of his career. He comes from a sporting family; he has an older brother Miloslav Hořava (ice hockey, born 1982) who has also played hockey for a living for ages. His father Miloslav Hořava was also a defenceman, and played 80 games for the New York Rangers, and his brother, also named Miloslav played alongside him at HC Kladno. Petr played for various other Czech teams, he played with HC Oceláři Třinec in the Czech Extraliga during the 2010–11 Czech Extraliga season. Czech Extraliga
The Czech Extraliga ( cs, Extraliga ledního hokeje, ELH) is the highest-level ice hockey league in the Czech Republic. It was created by the 1993 split of the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League following the breakup of Czechoslovakia. The league's season usually takes place between September and April and features 14 teams. It is ranked by the IIHF as the fourth-best league in Europe and the fifth-best in the world. The Milton Keynes Lightning are an ice hockey team founded in 2002 in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The Lightning currently play in Britain's second-tier professional league, the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL), since the 2019–20 season. The Lightning previously competed in the top tier Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) from 2017–2019, and the tier-3/tier-2 English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL) from 2002–2017.
