Petit Comic
is a Japanese josei manga magazine published by Shogakukan. Many series in this anthology magazine are romance-oriented and some are well known for featuring frank depiction of sexual situations. It is also the first josei manga magazine, making its debut in 1977 and being a pioneer in the genre. This magazine is occasionally referred to by its abbreviated form, ''PuchiComi''. is a supernatural romance manga series by Ohmi Tomu that was serialized in the manga magazine ''Petit Comic'' since 2006, with the 34th and final chapter published in the May 2009 issue. is a josei manga by Akemi Yoshimura. It was serialized in Shogakukan's ''Petit Comic'' between 1992 and 1998. The series received the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōjo in 1994. Plot Yuri Makurano is an unattractive girl who learns her mother is a famous actress named Shoko Hanai following her grandmother's death. Yuri begins to live with her mother's family which consists of three children named Sumire, Aoi, and Fuyo Hanatashiki. Yuri is treated as a maid at the household, eventually bonding with the family and builds up unrequited feelings for Sumire. is a manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Yoshihara, serialized in ''Petit Comic'' and published by Shogakukan in bound volumes between 2006 and 2009. It is about a young woman, Choko, whose family lost their money, and her entry into the office lady workforce, working for her former servant and childhood crush, Domoto. It was licensed in English by Viz Media, in Taiwanese by Tong Li Publishing, and in French by Soleil Productions. Chie Shinohara
is a Japanese manga artist best known for '' Red River'', known in Japan as ''Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori: Anatolia Story''. She has twice received the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōjo, in 1987 for '' Yami no Purple Eye'' and in 2001 for ''Red River''. Aside from her comics work, she has also written several prose novels.
