Petey Perot
Edward Joseph "Petey" Perot (born April 28, 1957) is a former professional American football offensive lineman. He started in Super Bowl XV for the Philadelphia Eagles. Perot played college football at Northwestern State University and was drafted in the second round of the 1979 NFL Draft by the Eagles. He also played for the New Orleans Saints in 1985. Guard (American Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. Louisiana Tech University (Louisiana Tech, La. Tech, or simply Tech) is a public research university in Ruston, Louisiana. It is part of the University of Louisiana System and classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity".
