Peter Vaughan-Clarke
Peter Vaughan-Clarke (born 11 June 1957, in Wandsworth, London) is a British actor. Vaughan-Clarke is best known for his portrayal of Stephen Jameson in the TV series ''The Tomorrow People'' in the 1970s, a character he returned to later in life in the audio continuation of the series by Big Finish Productions, most notably in the episode "Trigonometry". He has also appeared on TV in ''The Pallisers'', ''Shoestring'' (as "Fred"), ''The Duchess of Duke Street'' (as "Jamie"), and appeared in the 1975 British film ''It Could Happen to You'' (aka ''Intimate Teenage Secrets''), along with his ''Tomorrow People'' co-star Nicholas Young. The Duchess Of Duke Street
''The Duchess of Duke Street'' is a BBC television drama series set in London between the late 1800s and 1925. It was created by John Hawkesworth, previously the producer of the ITV period drama '' Upstairs, Downstairs''. It starred Gemma Jones as Louisa Leyton Trotter, the eponymous "Duchess" who works her way up from servant to renowned cook to proprietor of the upper-class Bentinck Hotel in Duke Street, St. James's, in London. The story is loosely based on the real-life career of Rosa Lewis (née Ovenden), the "Duchess of Jermyn Street", who ran the Cavendish Hotel in London, at the corner of Duke St, St. James's. When the show first aired, there were many people who still remembered her, as she lived until 1952. According to census returns, she was born in Leyton, Essex, to a watchmaker. Electrical lighting technicians (ELT), or simply lighting tech, are involved with rigging stage and location sets and controlling artificial, electric lights for art and entertainment venues (theatre or live music venues) or in video, television, or film production. In a theater production, lighting technicians work under the lighting designer and master electrician. ''Shoestring'' is a British detective fiction drama series, set in an unnamed city in the West of England and filmed in Bristol, featuring the down-at-heel private detective Eddie Shoestring (Trevor Eve), who presents his own show on Radio West, a local radio station. Broadcast on BBC1, the programme lasted for two series, between 30 September 1979 and 21 December 1980, featuring a total of 21 episodes.
