Peter Sullivan (born 26 July 1964) is an English film and television actor. Life and career Sullivan was born in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. In 1982, he joined the National Youth Theatre, where he played Edmond in ''King Lear'', and then joined the Old Vic Youth Theatre playing the title role in ''Macbeth''. He studied at Central School of Speech and Drama from 1983 to 1986 and then in New York under Uta Hagen at HB Studio. In 1988 he joined the Catalan performance group La Fura dels Baus and toured the world with them in their trilogy of spectacles ''Accions'', ''Suz/O/Suz'' and ''Tier Mon''. In 1990 he was asked by Deborah Warner to join the National Theatre in London to tour ''King Lear'' and ''Richard III'', directed by Richard Eyre, staying on to play in ''Napoli Millionaria'' as part of the Lyttelton Theatre company. Peter Sullivan (1932–1996) was a British graphic designer best known for his work on information graphics in The Sunday Times. He worked for the paper 15 years, starting from the beginning of the 1970s, until his death at the age of 64. Peter M. Sullivan is a Democratic former member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and a former member of the Board of Aldermen in the city of Manchester, New Hampshire. He served as a New Hampshire state representative from Hillsborough County, from 2001 until 2006, during which he served on the House Committees on Criminal Justice and Public Safety and State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs. From 2008 to 2010, Sullivan served as a member of the Manchester Board of Aldermen from the city's downtown Ward 3. He served in the New Hampshire House again from 2012 through 2014. Peter Michael Sullivan (born c.1933, died November 2020 of acute leukemia) was a British record producer, active mostly during the 1960s, and most often associated with records by Tom Jones (singer), Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck (singer), Engelbert Humperdinck. Biography By the late 1950s, Sullivan was working at the HMV Records, HMV record label as assistant to producer Wally Ridley. Ridley allowed Sullivan to take charge of recording sessions by a rock and roll group, Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, in 1960, and, working with engineer Malcolm Addey, Sullivan produced "Shakin' All Over", which became a hit single in the UK. Sullivan left HMV in 1962 and joined Decca Records as a producer. Peter David Sullivan (born 1948) is an Australian former national representative rugby union player. He represented for New South Wales and Australia, captaining the national side on eleven occasions from 1972 to 1973. Early life & rugby Sullivan was schooled at Chatswood Boys High School and played his early rugby at the Forest Rugby Club in Forestville. His senior rugby started in Wollongong and in his first season of first grade and scarcely eighteen he was selected for the Illawarra region and from there he was selected for New South Wales after just six senior games. Peter John Sullivan (March 15, 1821 – March 2, 1883) was an Irish-American soldier and lawyer, who became United States Ambassador to Colombia. Life Sullivan was born March 15, 1821, in Cork, Ireland. Sullivan's parents brought him to Philadelphia when he was two years old, and he received his education at the University of Pennsylvania. He served in the Mexican-American War, and received the brevet of major for meritorious services. After retiring to civil life he became one of the official stenographers of the U.S. Senate, and in 1848 went to live in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was admitted to the bar. He was prominent there as an opponent of the Know-nothing movement. During the American Civil War, Sullivan took an active part in organizing several Ohio volunteer regiments and went to the scene of action as colonel of the 48th Ohio Infantry.
