Peter Solomon (baseball)
Peter Joseph Solomon (born August 16, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. He played college baseball at the University of Notre Dame. He made his MLB debut in 2021 with the Houston Astros. Career Amateur career Solomon attended Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 21st round of the 2014 MLB draft, but did not sign. He played college baseball at the University of Notre Dame for the Fighting Irish. After his sophomore season of college in 2016, he played collegiate summer baseball for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he was named a league all-star. The Sugar Land Space Cowboys are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros Major League Baseball club. They are located in Sugar Land, Texas, part of the Greater Houston metropolitan area, and play their home games at Constellation Field. The team began play as the Sugar Land Skeeters in 2012 as an expansion team of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB), an independent baseball league. The Quad Cities River Bandits are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
