Peter John Smith (born 12 July 1969) was an English professional footballer who made 140 Football League appearances playing as a right back for Brighton & Hove Albion. Life and career Smith was born in Cannock, Staffordshire. He played non-league football for a string of clubs in that area, worked in the building trade and in social work, and was studying at the University of Greenwich when Brighton & Hove Albion offered him professional terms in 1994. He stayed with the club for five years and made 140 league appearances before spending several years back in non-league in the London area. Cannock
Cannock () is a town in the Cannock Chase district in the county of Staffordshire, England. It had a population of 29,018. Cannock is not far from the nearby towns of Walsall, Burntwood, Stafford and Telford. The cities of Lichfield and Wolverhampton are also nearby. Cannock lies to the north of the West Midlands conurbation on the M6, A34 and A5 roads, and to the south of The Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Jamie Moralee (born 2 December 1971) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder or forward. Playing career Moralee started his career at Crystal Palace but found his opportunities limited. He made only six appearances for the club, without scoring. He joined Millwall on a free transfer in September 1992. Moralee scored 20 goals in 76 appearances for Millwall in two seasons as they nearly gained promotion from Division One to the Premier League under Mick McCarthy. Moralee joined Watford for £450,000 in the summer of 1994. Signed as a replacement for 1993–94 player of the season Paul Furlong, who had left for Chelsea, Moralee proved to be a disappointment, scoring seven times in 69 appearances over two seasons.
