Peter Nigri ( Latinized from Schwartz), known also as Peter George Niger (b. 1434 at Kaaden in Bohemia; d. between 1481 and 1484), was a Dominican theologian, preacher and controversialist. Life He studied at different universities (Salamanca, Montpellier, Bologna, etc.) and entered the Dominican Order in 1452 at Eichstätt, Bavaria. After his religious profession he took up philosophy and theology at Leipzig, where he also produced his first literary work ''De modo praedicandi'' (1457). In 1459 he defended publicly in Freiburg a series of theses so successfully that the provincial chapter then in session there sent him to the University of Bologna for advanced courses in theology and canon law. Recalled after two years, he was made lector of theology and engaged in teaching and preaching. In 1465 he taught philosophy and was regent of studies in Cologne; in 1467 taught theology at Ulm; in 1469 or 1470 was elected prior in Eichstätt, on 31 May 1473, the newly founded University ...

Peter Schwartz (born 1949) is an American journalist. He is an Objectivist and writes opinion pieces and books from that viewpoint. Career A former chairman of the board, and currently a distinguished fellow, of the Ayn Rand Institute, Schwartz writes and lectures on a variety of topics, including environmentalism, foreign policy, political philosophy and ethics. He received a Master of Arts in journalism from Syracuse University and has taught advanced writing classes at the Ayn Rand Institute's Objectivist Academic Center. Peter Schwartz (; born 1946) is an American futurist, business executive, innovator, author, and co-founder of the Global Business Network (GBN), a corporate strategy firm, specializing in future-think and scenario planning. In 2011, Schwartz became an executive at Salesforce.com, where his roles include Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Chief Futures Officer. Personal history Schwartz was born in 1946 to Klara and Benjamin Schwartz, Hungarian Jews who had been in concentration camps and were living in a displaced persons camp in Stuttgart, Germany. The family soon moved to Norway, where they lived until he was five. At this point, they emigrated to America as stateless aliens on the S/S Stavangarfjord, arriving at the Port of New York in April 1951 and like nearly all displaced persons were taken to Ellis Island. Peter Heinrich Schwartze (born 23 May 1931, in Bad Salzuflen) is a German neurophysiologist, systems scientist and cyberneticist well known in the ex-German Democratic Republic. Schwartze graduated the medical University in Leipzig, Germany in 1957 and specialized in Neurophysiology. He studied and worked at the universities of Rostock, Greifswald and Leipzig. He became Doctor Habilitatus of the University Leipzig, Germany in 1968 and Professor of Pathophysiology in 1978 and served as the Director of the Carl Ludwig Institute of Physiology between 1980 and 1992 as successor of Hans Drischel. Prof. Schwartze also served as member of the East German Parliament between 1980-1990, in the Cultural Association fraction.
