Peter Miles is a British record producer based in Devon, England. Career Although Peter Miles has worked in a variety of genres (indie, folk, pop and hip-hop) he is most recognised as a rock producer. Bands Peter has worked with include Sweet Billy Pilgrim, The King Blues, The Skints, We Are The Ocean, Futures, Dry The River, Canterbury, Francesqa, The Cape Race and Tellison. Miles's musical background began touring with and in bands for several years in his teens notably playing with Martin Grech. During this time he discovered a talent for production and song arrangement, he began recording some of his favourite punk bands wherever possible (studios ranging from bedrooms to rehearsal rooms and the occasional pro studio too). Newbury, Berkshire
Newbury is a market town in the county of Berkshire, England, and is home to the administrative headquarters of West Berkshire Council. Futures were a four-piece rock band from Buckinghamshire, England. Futures received modest reviews and a smattering of fans whilst remaining unsigned with their debut Mini Album, The Holiday. The band were signed to self made label, Indigo, after leaving Major Label Mercury Records in April 2012. Mike Davies (born August 8, 1978) is an American firefighter and former disc jockey on BBC Radio 1 in the United Kingdom. Early life Davies was born in Culver City, California on August 8, 1978 to British parents, where he lived until he left high school, aged 19. As a boy he spent a lot of time in the UK, to which he attributed his love for music. In 1998, aged 19 years old, he moved to Santa Barbara, California where he studied graphic design. His love for music turned into a passion, and he decided to give up art school and pursue a career in radio. In 2001 he moved to London where he began working as a runner at Radio 1, later working with Steve Lamacq and The Evening Session at The Deconstruction Tour, where he was invited to a more permanent role. Holne Bridge
Holne Bridge is a Grade II* listed medieval bridge over the River Dart, Dartmoor, Devon, England. It is on the road between Ashburton and Two Bridges, about 1.5 miles or 2.5 km from Ashburton, and connects Holne Chase to Ausewell. The narrowness of both this bridge and nearby New Bridge means that the length and width of vehicles on this road are restricted. The bridge is constructed of local granite and has four arches, three of which are semicircular, the other segmental. It was rebuilt in 1413, at the same time as the building of the nearby New Bridge. The two central pillars have cutwaters on both sides; on the north side of the bridge these extend up to road level and provide triangular refuges for pedestrians. Martin Grech
Martin Grech (born 14 November 1982) is an English singer, songwriter and musician from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Career Grech released his debut album ''Open Heart Zoo'', produced by Andy Ross, in June 2002. He achieved critical acclaim for his falsetto title track, "Open Heart Zoo" (written when he was 15 years old), which was featured on a Lexus advert on British television. This was followed by a well-received UK tour. In 2005, Grech released a second album, ''Unholy''. As before, reviews were positive. The ''Unholy'' art work created by Stephen Kasner was hung as a backdrop to his concerts. The Cape Race
The Cape Race are an English five-piece British rock band from Manchester, England. They formed in September 2009. Member history and formation The members of The Cape Race came together from being part of different bands in the Manchester scene. David and Jonny were respectively singing and drumming in a band called No Standards when they played a show with a band called Grayson's Hour. Playing in Grayson's Hour at the time was Scott Perkins, as well as Joe Lennox and Adam Morris, who between the five of them formed a new band called The Honeymoon Suite in 2006. Francesqa
Francesqa were a British four-piece rock band from Newbury, England. History Formation Francesqa formed in early 2009, and in its initial incarnation, consisted of just Ashley Wilkie and Ben Hordos. Both of which shared song writing and performing duties. The remaining members joined from recently broken up local Oxfordshire bands Monroe (where both Wilkie and Hordos were members alongside Joe Hicks and Tom Millar) and Greenacre (where Warren Senior had previously played drums and sang). First EP In the summer of 2009 the band self released a three track EP that subsequently became available on iTunes and from the band at shows (a fourth track entitled "Boy" became available as a b-side on the iTunes release).
