Peter Loli
Peter Loli (born 2 February 1980) is an Australian rugby union player who played as an outside back for the Queensland Reds as well as for Queensland Reds B (also known as the Queensland Red Heelers). Career Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Loli began playing his junior rugby for Otahuhu RFC before moving to Queensland at the age of 12. After arriving in Australia Loli played his junior rugby for North Brisbane Rugby Club. While attending Marist College Ashgrove, Loli signed with the Queensland Reds. Loli became the second player ever to sign with the Queensland Reds while still at school, the first being Elton Flatley. Loli also represented Australia in the World Rugby Sevens Series (formerly known as the IRB Sevens World Series) as well as being selected for the Australian Barbarians. Elton Flatley (born 7 May 1977, Tamworth, New South Wales) is a former Australian international rugby union footballer. He played for the Queensland Reds. Career Flatley was educated at St. Joseph's Nudgee College where he was signed into the professional ranks of rugby union upon graduating. He made his debut for the Queensland Reds in 1996, the inaugural season of the Super 12, at the very young age of 18 against New Zealand side, Highlanders. In 1997, he made his international debut for Australia, playing against England at Twickenham on 15 November, aged 20. The game was a 15–15 draw. GPS Rugby Club, colloquially known as GPS, is an Australian rugby union club based at Ashgrove in Brisbane that plays in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition. GPS also participates in the Brisbane Grades and Colts competitions, and in the "Golden Oldies" competition for the over 35's. Brothers Rugby Club (formally Brothers Old Boys) is an Australian rugby union club based in Brisbane, Queensland. The name alludes to its beginnings as a rugby club founded by alumni of schools established by the Congregation of Christian Brothers. The World Rugby Men's Sevens Series is an annual series of international rugby sevens tournaments run by World Rugby featuring national sevens teams. Organised for the first time in the 1999–2000 season as the IRB World Sevens Series, the competition was formed to promote an elite-level of international rugby sevens and develop the game into a viable commercial product. The Queensland Reds is the rugby union team for the Australian state of Queensland that competes in the Southern Hemisphere's Super Rugby competition. Prior to 1996, they were a representative team selected from the rugby union club competitions in Queensland.
