Peter Kosminsky
Peter Kosminsky (born 21 April 1956) is a British writer, director and producer. He has directed Hollywood movies such as ''White Oleander'' and television films like ''Warriors'', ''The Government Inspector (television drama), The Government Inspector'', ''The Promise (2011 TV serial), The Promise'', ''Wolf Hall (TV series), Wolf Hall'' and ''The State (2017 TV series), The State''. Biography Kosminsky was born in London in 1956 to Jews, Jewish parents. He was educated at The Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School and the University of Oxford, where he studied chemistry under Dr John Danby of Worcester College, Oxford and was elected JCR President. He spent much of his time at the university involved in student theatre, where he was treasurer of the Oxford University Dramatic Society. White Oleander (film)
''White Oleander'' is a 2002 American drama film directed by Peter Kosminsky. The film stars Alison Lohman in the central role of Astrid Magnussen and Michelle Pfeiffer as her manipulative mother, Ingrid, with Robin Wright, Noah Wyle and Renée Zellweger in supporting roles. Lime Grove Studios
Lime Grove Studios was a film, and later television, studio complex in Shepherd's Bush, West London, England. The complex was built by the Gaumont Film Company in 1915. It was situated in Lime Grove, a residential street in Shepherd's Bush, and when it first opened was described by Gaumont as "the finest studio in Great Britain and the first building ever put up in this country solely for the production of films". Many Gainsborough Pictures films were made here from the early 1930s. Its sister studio was Islington Studios, also used by Gainsborough; films were often shot partly at Islington and partly at Lime Grove. In 1949, the complex was purchased by the BBC, who used it for television broadcasts until 1991. It was demolished in 1993. Brooke Kinsella
Brooke Kinsella (born 17 July 1983) is a British actress, author and anti-knife crime campaigner. A graduate of the Anna Scher Theatre School, Kinsella has been acting since childhood. She has had various roles on television and in film. Her most notable role is that of Kelly Taylor (EastEnders), Kelly Taylor, who featured in BBC's long-running soap opera, ''EastEnders'', between 2001 and 2004. She has her own drama school called True Stars Academy. Guy Hibbert
Guy Hibbert is a British screenwriter and playwright. He has won four BAFTA TV awards, including Best Writer for the 2009 film ''Five Minutes of Heaven''. This film was premiered at the 25th Sundance Film Festival, where Hibbert won the World Cinema Screenwriting Award. ''Five Minutes of Heaven'' also won the Christopher Ewart-Biggs Memorial Prize, given for work promoting peace and reconciliation in Ireland. Bruce Gyngell
Bruce Gyngell AO (8 July 1929 – 7 September 2000) was an Australian television executive, active for more than 40 years in both Australian and UK television. Although Gyngell began his career in radio, in the 1950s he stepped into the arena of early television broadcasting, helping to set up Channel 9, the first commercial TV station in Australia. ''Shoot to Kill'' is a four-hour drama documentary reconstruction of the events that led to the 1984–86 Stalker Inquiry into the shooting of six terrorist suspects in Northern Ireland in 1982 by a specialist unit of the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC), allegedly without warning (the so-called shoot-to-kill policy); the organised fabrication of false accounts of the events; and the difficulties created for the inquiry team in their investigation.
