Peter Hardcastle (born 14 July 1978) is a British born, Australian rower who competed at the Summer Olympic Games in 2000, 2004, and 2008. Club and state rowing His senior rowing was with the Mosman Rowing Club in Sydney. State representation came for Hardcastle in 2002 when he was selected as the New South Wales single sculler to contest the President's Cup at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championshipsbr>2002 Interstate Regatta He raced further President's Cups for New South Wales in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007. On seven occasions between 2001 and 2008 in Mosman's red & white he contested the men's open single sculls title at the Australian Rowing Championships. Imperial College Boat Club
Imperial College Boat Club is the rowing club for Imperial College and has its boat house on the River Thames on the Putney embankment, London, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1919. The alumni also run a boat club which is known as the Queen's Tower Boat Club and both crews occasionally row together as a composite in competition. History The boat club was housed from 1919 in Thames Rowing Club but has had its own boathouse since 1938. The club has been successful in competitions, with many wins at Henley Royal Regatta including in 2013 with victory in The Prince Albert Challenge Cup event. London Rowing Club (LRC, or colloquially, 'London') is the second-oldest of the non-academic active rowing clubs on the Thames in London, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1856 by members of the long-disbanded Argonauts Club wishing to compete at Henley Royal Regatta. Henley Royal Regatta (or Henley Regatta, its original name pre-dating Royal patronage) is a rowing event held annually on the River Thames by the town of Henley-on-Thames, England. Chris Morgan (born 15 December 1982) is an Australian former representative rower. He was a national champion, two-time world champion, three time Olympian and Olympic medal winner from Adelaide, South Australia. He won world championships in both sculls and in sweep-oared boat classes. Education Raised in Adelaide, Morgan attended Burnside Primary and Norwood Morialta High School. He had no exposure to rowing before university. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Adelaide and works as a software engineer. Morgan began his athletic career as a competitive walker. He took up rowing in 2003 after participating in an ergometer competition held by the Adelaide University Boat Club during the University's Orientation Week.
