Peter Furler Band
The Peter Furler Band is a Christian rock band from both Australia and the United States. It started in 2012 by Furler, and the band released their first album '' Sun and Shield'' in 2014 on their independent label New Day Christian Records and Platinum Pop Records. Background The band started in January 2012 by former Newsboys frontman Peter Furler joining with Dave Ghazarian formerly of Audio Adrenaline and Superchick, Jeff Irizarry, and Phil Joel formerly of the Newsboys. Joel left, however, shortly after its formation. Phil Joel
Philip Joel Urry (born 5 January 1973), known by his stage name Phil Joel, is a New Zealand musician and former bassist for the Christian rock group Newsboys. Background Philip Joel Urry was born in Auckland, New Zealand. He was lead singer and guitarist of the band Drinkwater. He joined the Newsboys as bassist in August 1994. In June 2000, he released his first solo album, ''Watching Over You'', on Inpop Records. He supported this album with the ''Strangely Normal Tour'' accompanied by LaRue, Luna Halo, Earthsuit, V*Enna & Katy Hudson (now known as Katy Perry). The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. Superchick, originally known as Superchic '', was an American Christian alternative pop/rock band. Their music incorporated various styles such as pop, punk, rock, rap, and R&B. Audio Adrenaline
Audio Adrenaline was an American Christian rock band that formed in 1986 at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. The band gained recognition during the 1990s and received two Grammy Awards and multiple Dove Awards. Audio Adrenaline were regular performers at the annual Creation Festival, Spirit West Coast festival, Agape Music Festival, and Alive Festival. In 2007, the group disbanded due to lead singer Mark Stuart's spasmodic dysphonia. During this time, they released eight studio albums. After a hiatus, the band reformed in 2012 with only bassist Will McGinniss returning from the original line-up.
