Peter Frymuth
Peter Frymuth (born 14 December 1956 in Düsseldorf) is a German association football, football official. He is currently vice president of the German Football Association (german: Deutscher Fussball-Bund, DFB) and president of the Lower Rhine Football Association (German: ''Fußballverband Niederrhein'', FVN). Career As early as the 1970s, Frymuth already had various functions in the Lower Rhine Football Association and the Western German Football and Athletics Association (German:''Westdeutscher Fußball- und Leichtathletikverband'', WFLV). In December 2006, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Federal Cross of Merit for his volunteer activities in youth and amateur football. In 2013, Frymuth was elected president of FVN and vice president of the WFLV. From November 2004 to January 2014, Frymuth was CEO of Fortuna Düsseldorf. The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (german: Verdienstorden der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, or , BVO) is the only federal decoration of Germany. It is awarded for special achievements in political, economic, cultural, intellectual or honorary fields. It was created by the first President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Theodor Heuss, on 7 September 1951. Eller is an urban quarter of Düsseldorf, part of Borough 8. It is located southeast of the city centre. Eller has been a part of Düsseldorf since the year 1909. It has an area of , and 31,153 inhabitants (2020). History Archeological findings tell of a continuous settlement in Eller up from the second century A.D.
