Leipzig ( , ; Upper Saxon: ) is the most populous city in the German state of Saxony. ''Derrick'' is a German TV crime series produced between 1974 and 1998, starring Horst Tappert as Detective Chief Inspector (''Kriminaloberinspektor'') Stephan Derrick, and Fritz Wepper as Detective Sergeant (''Kriminalhauptmeister'') Harry Klein, his loyal assistant. They solve murder cases in Munich and surroundings (with three unsolved cases in total). It was produced by Telenova Film und Fernsehproduktion in association with ZDF, ORF, and SRG. The film was shown at the Berlin International Film Festival and at the São Paulo International Film Festival in 2000, among others. Plot Rosa von Praunheim portrays a historical personality. Magnus Hirschfeld made a name for himself as a co-founder of sexology and a pioneer of the gay movement. In his Institut für Sexualwissenschaft in Berlin he fights for the impunity of homosexuality. In the 1930s he even gave lectures in the USA, but the Nazis condemned his educational work. His own homosexuality keeps getting him into trouble, too. When Hirschfeld finally went into exile in France, the Nazis destroyed his institute in Berlin. Hauser's Memory
''Hauser's Memory'' is a 1970 science fiction television movie directed by Boris Sagal and that starred Susan Strasberg, David McCallum, Lilli Palmer, Robert Webber and Leslie Nielsen. The screenplay by Adrian Spies was based on a 1968 novel of the same name by Curt Siodmak, which reworked the central idea of his novel '' Donovan's Brain'' (1943). The dying scientist Hauser knows of missile secrets. In order to preserve this information, the Central Intelligence Agency has scientist Hillel Mondoro (McCallum) inject himself with the cerebrospinal fluid extracted from Hauser. However, Hauser's wife Anna (Palmer) turns out to be pro-Nazi, and the memory of this woman also becomes imprinted on Mondoro's mind. Hauser's memory starts to take control of Mondoro and causes him to try to even some old scores. This film was a nominee for the 1971 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
