Peter Dubovský (footballer)
Peter Dubovský (7 May 1972 – 23 June 2000) was a Slovak professional footballer who played as a forward. After starting his career with Slovan Bratislava he played seven years in Spain, amassing La Liga totals of 151 games and 19 goals for two teams. Dubovský died in 2000 at 28, while on vacation in Thailand. Club career Born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, Dubovský made his professional debut with local ŠK Slovan Bratislava, for whom he signed at the age of 13. Only four years later he made his first Czechoslovak First League appearance, and went on to score 51 goals in only 59 appearances in his last two seasons combined (leading the scoring charts on both occasions), being an instrumental offensive figure as his hometown club won the national championship in 1992. Košice

Všešportový areál ("All Sports Complex") was a multi-purpose stadium in Košice, Slovakia. In its 21 years operating as a professional football ground, the Czechoslovakia national football team, then the independent Slovakia national football team, and local club FC VSS Košice played home matches there from 1976 to 1997. History The Všešportový areál stadium opened on 29 February 1976 with a match against ZVL Žilina. The football stadium was demolished in 2011. Szilárd Németh (; ; born 8 August 1977) is a Slovak former professional association football, footballer who played as a Striker (association football), striker. After playing for clubs in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, he spent four-and-a-half seasons at Middlesbrough F.C., Middlesbrough of the Premier League from 2001 to 2006. The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 1992 was a series of parallel association football competitions to be held over 1990 and 1991 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 1992, to be held in Sweden. The 1992 UEFA European Football Championship was hosted by Sweden between 10 and 26 June 1992. It was the ninth UEFA European Championship, which is held every four years and supported by UEFA. Denmark won the 1992 championship, having qualified only after Yugoslavia was disqualified as a result of the breakup of the country and the ensuing warfare there.
