Peter Dickson (presenter)
Peter Dickson is a Northern Irish voice-over artist. He is best known as the brand voice of ''The X Factor'' and ''Britain’s Got Talent'' and also as the voice of television channel E4. His other work includes ''Ireland's Got Talent'', ''The Price Is Right'', ''Family Fortunes'' and ''All Star Mr & Mrs''. Career Dickson was educated at the Belfast Royal Academy in his home city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. He later graduated with a BA Hons degree in psychology from Queens University. While there he was a member of the University Air Squadron, where he flew the Bulldog. He was a reporter and journalist at the BBC, later moving to the presentation department at Radio Ulster. From there he moved on to BBC Radio 2 as a newsreader and announcer, also presenting overnight shows and his own comedy-based Friday show ''Peter Dickson's Nightcap''. ''Guinness World Records Smashed'' is a British television show for Sky1, that features record attempts, celebrity guests and death-defying stunts. A one-off pilot episode was transmitted on 23 November 2008, and a full 10-part series was broadcast on Sky1 from 19 April to 21 June 2009. The show was produced by British independent production company, Outline Productions with Guinness World Records. Filming The pilot show was recorded in October 2008 at Teddington Studios and around London and invited people to partake in the filming to attempt to break existing world records. On the back of the November 2008 one-off programme, Sky1 ordered a 10-part series. The studio format invited members of the public to try to set new world records in everything from leaping through burning hoops to somersaulting over cars. Patrick Kielty
Patrick Kielty (born 31 January 1971) is a Northern Irish comedian and television personality. Background Kielty was born in County Down, Northern Ireland, and grew up in the village of Dundrum. He is one of three sons born to the businessman John "Jack" Kielty, who was shot dead on 25 January 1988 by the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF), a cover name used by loyalist paramilitary group the Ulster Defence Association (UDA). John Kielty was to have been a key witness in Central Television's defence of a libel action brought by Jim Craig, who was suing the television company over a broadcast of ''The Cook Report'' which connected him to racketeering, and is said to have ordered John Kielty's murder. Leslie Dennis Heseltine (born 12 October 1953) is an English television presenter, actor, and comedian. He presented ''Family Fortunes'' from 1987 until 2002. Early life Dennis was born Leslie Dennis Heseltine on 12 October 1953 in the Liverpool suburb of Garston. His mother worked in a factory while his father, who worked in a betting shop after serving in the Royal Navy during the Second World War, was listed as a football player on the books of Liverpool FC but did not play for the first team. He lived in the suburb of Speke for a while and attended the Stockton Wood and Joseph Williams primary schools, before going to Morrison Rose Lane Secondary Modern school in Allerton.
