Peter Brandes
Peter Brandes (born 5 March 1944 in Assens, Denmark) is a Danish painter, sculptor, ceramic artist and photographer. Brandes' art is abstract and often in brown colours. He had his breakthrough as artist in the beginning of the 1980s. He has, ''inter alia'', done artwork on Roskilde Domkirke and mosaic (colored glass) windows in a church at Nordkap and the church Village of Hope, south of Los Angeles.''Interview: Peter Brandes'' Af Sonja Sabinsky. Colombes () is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris. In 2019, Colombes was the 53rd largest city in France. Funen's Art Museum (Danish: ''Fyns Kunstmuseum''), formerly The Museum of Funen's Abbey and Museum Civitatis Othiniensis, founded in 1885, is an art museum in Odense, Denmark. Funen's Art Museum operated as a part of the Odense City Museums (''Odense Bys Museer''). History Fyns Kunstmuseum is housed in a stately neo-classical building built in 1883–84 with Emil Schwanenflügel (1847-1921) as supervising architect. The building has a characteristic temple gable and a decorated frieze with scenes from Denmark's history and Norse mythology. The museum was founded as a mini version of Nationalgalleriets (later the Statens Museum for Kunst) and holds a wide range of works by important Danish artists. The Designmuseum Denmark () is a museum in Copenhagen for Danish and international design and crafts. The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek ("ny" means "new" in Danish; "Glyptotek" comes from the Greek root ''glyphein'', to carve, and ''theke'', storing place), commonly known simply as Glyptoteket, is an art museum in Copenhagen, Denmark.
