Peter Becker (actor)
Peter Becker is an Anglo-German actor. He was born in 1979 in Bad Hersfeld to a German father and a British mother and was raised between Germany and the UK. Becker had his first role as a theatre actor at 15 years old at the renowned Bad Hersfelder Festspiele. At the same time as he was building his acting career, Becker was simultaneously involved in journalism, rising to editor of the Hersfelder Zeitung newspaper’s weekly youth page. After completing his formal education, Becker moved to Berlin, where he became a production assistant and casting director for commercials and music videos. In 2002 he began studying at the prestigious Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. During this time he was recruited for his first film roles (‘The Loss Of The Pamir’), and further theatre engagements including Deutsches Theater (Berlin) and Thalia Theater (Hamburg). Bad Hersfeld
The festival and spa town of Bad Hersfeld (''Bad'' is "spa" in German; the Old High German name of the city was ''Herolfisfeld'') is the district seat of the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district in northeastern Hesse, Germany, roughly 50 km southeast of Kassel. Bad Hersfeld is known countrywide above all for the ''Bad Hersfelder Festspiele'' (festival), which have taken place each year since 1951 at the monastery ruins. These themselves are said to be Europe's biggest Romanesque church ruin. In 1967, the town hosted the seventh ''Hessentag'' state festival. ''SOKO Stuttgart'' (English title: ''Stuttgart Homicide'') is a German police procedural television series that premiered on 12 November 2009 on ZDF. It is the eighth offshoot of ''SOKO München'', launched in 1978 under the name ''SOKO 5113''. "SOKO" is an abbreviation of the German word ''Sonderkommission'', which means "special investigative team". The first season of ''Stuttgart Homicide'', consisting of twenty episodes, aired on ZDF from November 2009. In February 2022, filming began on the fourteenth season, made up of twenty-five episodes. Crossover On 3 April 2013, five SOKO teams were brought together for a five-part special titled ''SOKO – Der Prozess''. The Joker is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane, and Jerry Robinson, and first appeared in the debut issue of the comic book ''Batman (comic book), Batman'' on April 25, 1940. Credit for the Joker's creation is disputed; Kane and Robinson claimed responsibility for the Joker's design while acknowledging Finger's writing contribution.
