Peter Simon Barnes (born 10 June 1957) is an English former international association football, football player, manager and Pundit (expert), pundit. An attacking winger (association football), left-sided winger, his playing career spanned 19 years and took him to 25 clubs across eight countries. He is the son of Ken Barnes (English footballer), Ken Barnes, who won the FA Cup with Manchester City F.C., Manchester City in 1956 FA Cup Final, 1956. An England national youth football team, England Youth and England national under-21 football team, under-21 international, Barnes was a member of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship winning team in 1975 UEFA European Under-18 Championship, 1975. Pete Barnes
Peter G. Barnes (August 31, 1945 – May 3, 2018) was an American football linebacker who played professionally in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Southern University. He played professionally in the AFL for the Houston Oilers in 1967 and 1968, and the San Diego Chargers in 1969. He then played in the NFL for the Chargers (1970–72), the St. Louis Cardinals (1973–75), and the New England Patriots (1976–77). He was the father of Arizona women's basketball coach Adia Barnes. Peter died May 3, 2018, in Tucson hospice care after suffering from Alzheimer's disease. He was 72 years old. Peter Barnes (Irish Republican)
Peter Barnes (6 May 1907 – 7 February 1940) was born in Banagher, King's County (Offaly). As a young man Barnes joined Fianna Éireann (an Irish nationalist youth organisation) and in 1924 became a member of the Irish Republican Army (IRA). Sabotage campaign in England - the S-Plan Barnes, along with James McCormick (also known as James Richards), were convicted of participating in the 1939 Coventry bombing, which was part of the IRA's sabotage campaign in England (the S-Plan). The Coventry bombing killed five people on 25 August 1939. Barnes was arrested on that date in London. Although he and McCormick admitted constructing the bomb, which was intended to be used to destroy a power station, they claimed not to be involved in planting the bomb. Another IRA man (Joseph "Joby" O'Sullivan) claimed that he planted the bomb and that Barnes and McCormick were innocent. Peter Barnes is a senior Washington correspondent for the Fox Business Network. He joined the network in October 2007. Barnes was previously a co-anchor for FBN's morning program, ''Money for Breakfast'', from its debut on October 15, 2007 to May 9, 2008. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, Barnes also holds a MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Peter Barnes (born 25 February 1955 in Enfield, London) is a British lighting designer, lighting director, show producer and set designer. He is credited with more than 150 designs for live music, film, television, dance, fashion, art and architecture. He is known in the live music industry as 'the UK's guru of pop lighting'. He was the show producer, lighting and set designer for the Spice Girls live shows including the massive, international Spiceworld Tour, Spiceworld tour and the Christmas in Spiceworld tour. He designed the lighting for Live 8 and his design was used around the world for all major Live 8 venues with an estimated worldwide audience of 3 billion people.
