Peter-No-Tail (TV Series)
''Peter-No-Tail'' ( sv, Pelle Svanslös) is a 1997 Swedish Live-Action SVT's Christmas calendar TV series initiated by SVT Dramas executive chief Mark Levengood. The series is based on Gösta Knutsson's books and was well received by both children and grownups. The script was written by Pernilla Oljelund. Some of the actors wore mechanical, remote-controlled tails with their costumes. Plot The series is set at Åsgränd in the town of Uppsala in Sweden, where a group of cats are living. Among them are Pelle Svanslös, Måns and Maja Gräddnos. Gösta Knutsson
Gösta Lars August Knutsson (original surname Johansson; 12 October 1908, in Stockholm – 4 April 1973) was a Swedish radio producer and writer of a popular series of children's books about the cat ''Pelle Svanslös''. Gösta Knutsson was born in a middle-class family in Stockholm and came to the University of Uppsala as a student, remaining in Uppsala for the rest of his life. After completing an M.A. degree, he was curator (chairman) of the Stockholm Nation and later chairman of the Uppsala Student Union (1936–1938). He was also editor of the student union paper ''Ergo'' 1940–42. During his time as student union chairman, he was also employed as head of the Uppsala office of the Swedish National Radio and remained there from 1936 until 1969. As such he introduced the quiz show in Sweden, with the first one recruiting the two teams from two of the student nations in Uppsala. Annette Elsa Katarina Ewerlöf (born 28 December 1959) is a Swedish actress. She began acting in theater when she was 13 years old at Vår teater, a children's theater in Stockholm. Ewerlöf was educated at the theater university at the Stockholm Scene School (Scenskolan i Stockholm), and has worked at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. Björn Gösta Tryggve Granath (5 April 1946 – 5 February 2017) was a Swedish actor who appeared in over 100 films and television shows. Granath was born in Örgryte, Gothenburg, Sweden. He starred in a broad range of roles from comedic to dramatic. He was active as an actor and director at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm between the years 1987–2007. Prior to his passing he was set to play Buckingham in a production of Richard III at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. It was a revival of a popular production he had appeared in during 2014.
