Peter-Jürgen Sanmann
Peter-Jürgen Sanmann (5 August 1935 – 15 March 2016) was a German professional footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played as forward or winger. Career Club Sanmann played youth football with SC Concordia von 1907 in Hamburg. Playing for the amateur league team, he was nominated by national coach Sepp Herberger for the debut game of the newly launched junior national team (U–23) for the international match against Yugoslavia in Frankfurt on 25 June 1955. In the 3–3 draw, he played on the left wing and scored a goal. Sanmann signed his first professional contract with FC Basel's club chairman Jules Düblin. He joined their first team for their 1955–56 season under trainer Béla Sárosi. After playing in two test matches, Sanmann played his domestic league debut for his new club in the away game on 28 August 1955 as Basel were defeated 2–0 by Chiasso. FC Fribourg is a Swiss football club from the town of Fribourg in the Canton of Fribourg. In the 2022/23 season, the team is playing in 2. Liga Interregional, the fifth highest tier in the Swiss football pyramid. History The club was founded on 21 October 1900 and began life as FC Technicum. It took its name from the local school where nine young men gathered in the school brewery to establish the foundations for a football club. The majority of the men were not local, most of the men were students from England. The team had to wait over a year for their first match. On 27 October 1901 the club lost 4–1 to Club Romand. On 25 September 1904, FC Technicum became a member of Swiss Football Association. On 12 November 1904 the club changed its name to Stella FC. Willi Schröder
Willi Schröder (28 December 1928 – 20 October 1999) was a German association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. Club career Schröder was a member of the 1961 SV Werder Bremen, Werder Bremen DFB-Pokal winning squad. It was Werder Bremen's first DFB-Pokal win, and earned them a spot as a charter member of the newly reformed Bundesliga. Schröder played 54 games and scored 20 goals as a midfielder for Werder Bremen in the then Oberliga Nord (1947–63), Oberliga Nord for three seasons from 1960 to 1963. Uwe Seeler
Uwe Seeler (; 5 November 1936 – 21 July 2022) was a German footballer and football official. As a striker, he was a prolific scorer for Hamburger SV and also made 72 appearances for the West Germany national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in German football history, Seeler was named one of FIFA's 100 greatest living players by Pelé in 2004. He was the first football player to be awarded the Great Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Oberliga Nord was the fourth tier of the German football league system in the north of Germany. It covered the states of Lower Saxony, Bremen, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
