Peter-Adrian Cohen
Peter-Adrian Cohen (also known as Peter Cohen) (16.11.1939 † 07.03.2016) was an American writer. He grew up in Zürich, Switzerland, and lived in Boston. Career While studying at Harvard Business School Cohen wrote the 1973 best-seller, ''The Gospel According to the Harvard Business School.'' It is a "sophisticated" and "negative" look at the Business School. ''To Pay the Price'' is a 2009 play by Peter-Adrian Cohen based in part on the letters of Israeli hero Yonatan Netanyahu, who was killed in action during Operation Entebbe at Entebbe airport, by Ugandan soldiers, when the Israeli military rescued hostages after an aircraft hijacking by Palestinian terrorists. Netanyahu was the leader of the assault The play, produced by North Carolina's Theatre Or opened off-off Broadway in New York in June 2009 during the ''Festival of Jewish Theater and Ideas. In addition to Netanyahu's letters, the playwright drew on interviews he conducted with Netanyahu's friends and family. The play had been scheduled to run at the New Repertory Theatre company near Boston, Massachusetts in 2008. Yonatan Netanyahu
Yonatan "Yoni" Netanyahu ( he, יונתן נתניהו; March 13, 1946 – July 4, 1976) was an American-born Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officer who commanded the elite commando unit Sayeret Matkal during Operation Entebbe, an operation to rescue hostages held at Entebbe Airport in Uganda in 1976. 102 of the 106 hostages were rescued, but Netanyahu was killed in action—the only IDF fatality during the operation. The eldest son of the Israeli professor Benzion Netanyahu, Yonatan was born in New York City and spent much of his youth in the United States, where he attended high school. After serving in the IDF during the Six-Day War of 1967, he briefly attended Harvard University before transferring to Jerusalem's Hebrew University in 1968; soon thereafter he left his studies and returned to the IDF.
