Pete Myers
Peter Eddie Myers (born September 15, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player and a former assistant coach for the NBA team Chicago Bulls. Early life and college career Born in Mobile, Alabama, Myers graduated from Williamson High School of Mobile in 1981. Myers then attended Faulkner State Community College. At Faulkner State, Myers averaged nearly 14 points per game in his two-year career and was named to the 1983 All-Southern Division team. Myers transferred to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1983 and played two seasons on the Arkansas–Little Rock Trojans men's basketball team after redshirting one year. At Arkansas–Little Rock, Myers was named to the All- Trans American Athletic Conference (TAAC) team both his junior and senior years and was part of the 1986 TAAC tournament championship team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. 1986 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament
The 1986 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 64 schools playing in single-elimination play to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 13, 1986, and ended with the championship game on March 31 in Dallas, Texas. A total of 63 games were played. Louisville, coached by Denny Crum, won the national title with a 72–69 victory in the final game over Duke, coached by Mike Krzyzewski. The ASUN Conference men's basketball tournament (formerly known as the Trans America Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament between 1979 and 2001) is the conference championship tournament in basketball for the ASUN Conference, formerly known as the Trans America Athletic Conference (TAAC) and Atlantic Sun Conference.
