Pete Trgovich is an American former college basketball player. He played for the UCLA Bruins, and won two national championships during his career. Trgovich was a member of the 1971 East Chicago Washington High School Senators basketball team, which went undefeated (29-0) and won the Indiana state high school championship. In the final two tournament wins that season, he scored a combined 68 points. Among his teammates were Junior Bridgeman, who later played professionally in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and Tim Stoddard, who played basketball at North Carolina State University and went on to have success as a Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher. Peter Seeger (May 3, 1919 – January 27, 2014) was an American folk singer and social activist. A fixture on nationwide radio in the 1940s, Seeger also had a string of hit records during the early 1950s as a member of the Weavers, notably their recording of Lead Belly's "Goodnight, Irene", which topped the charts for 13 weeks in 1950. Members of the Weavers were blacklisted during the McCarthy Era. John Peter Ricketts (born August 19, 1964) is an American politician serving as the 40th governor of Nebraska since 2015. He is a member of the Republican Party. Evo Peter Perini (February 10, 1928 – September 11, 2008) was an American football fullback who played two seasons in the National Football League with the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns.
