Peršėkė
The Peršėkė is a river of Alytus district municipality, Alytus County, southern Lithuania. It flows for 66 kilometres and has a basin area of 542 km². It begins near Gervėnai village and crosses the Lake Obelija at upper course. There is a water reservoir on Peršėkė near Krokialaukis. The most important settlements along the Peršekė are Krokialaukis and Balbieriškis. Peršėkė joins the river Neman from its left side. Alytus County ( lt, Alytaus apskritis) is one of ten counties of Lithuania, counties in Lithuania. It is the southernmost county, and its Capital (political), capital is the city of Alytus. Balbieriškis
Balbieriškis ( pl, Balwierzyszki; german: Bauwerischeck, Bauwersk; russian: Бальвержишки, Бальберишкис; yi, באַלבירישאָק, Balbirishok) is a small town in Kaunas County in central Lithuania. It is situated on the left bank of the Neman River. As of 2011 it had a population of 966. The town was established by German lumberman Hanus, who received a plot of land in wilderness of Suvalkija from Grand Duke Sigismund I the Old. Hanus cleared the forest and built an estate.
