Pervin Buldan
Pervin Buldan (born 6 November 1967) is a Turkish politician. She was a member of the Democratic Society Party (DTP). She is President of Yakay-Der and one of the deputy speakers in the 26th Parliament of Turkey. On 11 February 2018, she was elected co-leader of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in the party's 3rd ordinary congress. Early life She was born in Hakkâri Province in 1967, where she grew up and went to school. She graduated from high school and started work as an official in the local government administration department. At the age of 19, she married Savaş Buldan. The couple moved to Istanbul in 1990, where Pervin Buldan was a full-time housewife. One year later, Pervin's first child, Necirvan, was born. Savaş Buldan, a well known businessman and opposition supporter, was murdered by Turkish state. Nasreen Pervin Huq
Nasreen Pervin Huq (born Bangladesh, 18 November 1958, died Bangladesh, 24 April 2006) was a prominent women's activist and campaigner for women's rights and social justice. She died in an accident at her home in Dhaka, when she was crushed by a vehicle. The vehicle was driven by her chauffeur, who was picking her up to go to work as Director of the UK non-governmental organisation Action Aid. Though her death was ruled accidental, some think the driver was paid off by a foreign figure. Early life and education Nasreen Huq was born into a prominent Bangladeshi family; her father, Rafiqul Huq, was an engineer and her mother, Jaheda Khanum, a poet and translator of poetry. Pervin Özdemir (born 1951 in İzmir) is a Turkish people, Turkish Ceramic art, ceramics artist. She has taken drawing and history of art classes from Ali Riza Hiti. Has completed academy in 1971. In the 1980s she continued her art studies concentrating on ceramics at the Museum of Paintings and Sculpture in İzmir. In 1996, she completed studies in a ceramics workshop in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and researches in Köln and Amsterdam. Published articles on art of ceramics. During the same period, started to train students in the workshop she founded. She has prepared 25 solo exhibitions in many cities of Turkey and in Germany. Took part in 55 joint exhibitions all around the world. Her ceramics exhibition in Gelsenkirchen which was the first one by a Turkish artist was mentioned in European press.
