Mario Molina (wrestler)
Mario José Molina Henríquez (19 March 19437 October 2020) was a Mexican physical chemist. He played a pivotal role in the discovery of the Antarctic ozone hole, and was a co-recipient of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his role in discovering the threat to the Earth's ozone layer from chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) gases. He was the first Mexican-born scientist to receive a Nobel Prize in Chemistry and the third Mexican-born person to receive a Nobel prize. Carlos Erick Zegarra Presser (born September 1, 1984 in Lima) is a Peruvian judoka, who played for the heavyweight category. He won a bronze medal for his division at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Zegarra stands 2.08 metres (6 ft 10 in) tall and weighs 165 kilograms (364 lb). Zegarra represented Peru at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's heavyweight class (+100 kg). He defeated Argentina's Sandro López in the second preliminary round, before losing out his next match, by an ippon and a yoko shiho gatame, to Cuban judoka and Pan American Games champion Óscar Brayson. 2007 Pan American Games
The 2007 Pan American Games, officially known as the XV Pan American Games, were a major continental multi-sport event that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 13 to 29, 2007. A total of 5,633 athletes from 42 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competed in 332 events in 34 sports and in 47 disciplines. During the Games, 95 new Pan American records were set; 2,196 medals were awarded; 1,262 doping control tests were performed and about 15,000 volunteers participated in the organization of the event, which was an Olympic qualification for 13 International Federations (IFs). Rio de Janeiro was awarded the Games over San Antonio, Texas, United States, on August 24, 2002, having won an absolute majority of votes (30–21) from the 51 members of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) in the first round of voting during the XL PASO General Assembly held in Mexico City, Mexico. Rodrigo Pacheco (badminton)
Rodrigo Daniel Pacheco Carrillo (born 14 January 1983) is a Peruvian badminton player. Pacheco started playing badminton when he was 6 years old at the club Regatas Lima. He had made his debut at the Pan Am Junior Championships in 1996, and became the senior national team member in 2001. He was the bronze medalists at the Pan American Games, in the men's singles event in 2007, and also in the mixed doubles event in 2007 and 2011. In 2010, he won triple gold medals at the South American Games in the men's doubles, mixed doubles, and mixed team event. He competed for Peru at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Pacheco educated Sports management at the University College of Northern Denmark.
